Task 3: Statement on Human Sexuality
After reading Beilby and Eddy, write a statement on human sexuality which can be used as a personal statement of belief and/or an officially approved church statement of belief. The statement’s format should be as follows:
Preamble – An introductory statement setting the statement’s context and describing its purpose and focus.
Affirmations – A series of positively stated biblical convictions (amply supported with Scripture) which address various issues related to human sexuality.
Implications – A descriiption of interpersonal, relational, and pastoral implications derived from the above biblical convictions.
The statement should contain a Title Page, Section Headings, and a Works Cited Bibliography.
